ShowMIDI

ShowMIDI is an open-source multi-platform GUI application designed to provide a streamlined visualization of MIDI activity. Instead of manual sorting through MIDI message logs, ShowMIDI offers real-time visualization of current MIDI activity, automatically focusing on relevant information and enhancing user experience.

By utilizing the spacebar or play/pause button, users can pause the live flow of data, allowing for a detailed snapshot of the latest MIDI entity states. ShowMIDI is engineered to operate consistently in the background, ensuring uninterrupted monitoring of MIDI activity on the user's computer.

This versatile tool can function both as a standalone application, detecting all connected MIDI devices effortlessly, and as an AUv3 plugin within DAWs or hosts, enabling users to visualize MIDI data directly within their sessions.

ShowMIDI provides visualization for a wide range of MIDI parameters, including MIDI ports, channels, program changes, notes, pressure values, control changes, pitch bend, RPNs, NRPNs, MPE configurations, and channel modes.

In addition to its comprehensive visualization capabilities, ShowMIDI supports themes for customization and offers seamless operation in both standalone and AUv3 modes.
